Marilee Miller Clarke

Marilee Miller Clarke is an active attorney in Scottsdale, Arizona, and is the founder and owner of Clarke Law Firm, PLC. She has been an attorney for more than 40 years. Her primary areas of practice are estate planning and probate, business law and litigation, and family law.  


Ms. Clarke’s experience includes private practice with a Scottsdale and a Phoenix law firm. She was the first woman President of a law firm of 10+ attorneys in the Phoenix metropolitan area. With Resolution Trust Corporation-Legal, Phoenix, she acted as section chief for the Western Savings Section and was the Alternative Dispute Resolution Coordinator. Prior to that, she was the first woman Vice President and General Counsel of Wells Fargo Credit Corporation, a subsidiary of Wells Fargo & Company with $1+ billion in assets that was headquartered in Scottsdale. Ms. Clarke also had a judicial clerkship with the Chief Justice of the Idaho Supreme Court.


Ms. Clarke obtained her B.A. in English (with high distinction and departmental honors) from Indiana University, where she was a member of the Mortar Board and Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her J.D. degree from the University of Wisconsin, where she was managing editor of the Wisconsin Law Review. 


Ms. Clarke served as President of the Scottsdale Bar Association. She is Editor-in-Chief of the Arizona Civil Remedies text published by the State Bar of Arizona and is the author of its chapter on Rescission and Specific Performance. Her publications also include legal articles in law journals and other publications. She was a founding member of Arizona Women Lawyers Association, served the State Bar of Arizona as a member and chair of its CLE Committee and its MCLE Committee, and received the State Bar of Arizona CLE Award. Ms. Clarke is a Fellow of the College of Estate Planning Attorneys and a member of the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council.


She was on the Board of Contemporary Forum of the Phoenix Art Museum, served as its Parliamentarian, and chaired its Governance Committee. Ms. Clarke was legal counsel to Foothills Caring Corps, a non-profit corporation. She is a member of AAUW-Scottsdale Branch and is a member of a Paradise Valley book club.

Brayden Harn

Brayden Harn is our newest associate attorney. Brayden is a recent graduate of the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where he was a Leo & Annette Beus Top Scholar and an O’Connor Honors Fellow. During law school, he served as an Associate Editor for the Corporate and Business Law Journal. He earned his undergraduate degree in Finance with a minor in Business Management from Utah Valley University. Outside of work, Brayden enjoys spending time at the lake and staying active with a good game of pickleball.

Janet Hone is our senior paralegal. She has many years of experience working with attorneys in corporate legal departments, government legal departments, and private sector law firms. Janet has significant experience in the areas of real estate, civil litigation, and probate law. When not working, Janet’s interests include music, gemology, and antiques.
